Why I oppose heterosexual marriage (licensing):

The state shouldn’t be licensing marriage in the first place - hetero, homo, or otherwise, IMHO. The less licensing of EVERYTHING the better. Gay marriage legislation is an attempt to get the same special favors from the government as hetero marriage. Gay marriage IS legal - as is Tree marriage, Car marriage, Football marriage, etc., it’s just not state licensed! I’d like to purpose banning state licensing of ALL marriage, thank you. Besides, I’m single, if Gays and Straights have a license, why can’t I?
